Mob grazing and long rest periods build deep-rooting grasses, extending the grazing season and improving soil health. Production will increase when the ground is ready.

Angus cattle graze the patchwork of pastures at New House Farm.
From diverse native meadows, to new herbal leys. The cattle have diversity in their diet through grasses, herbs, legumes, thick hedgerows and trees to browse.

We follow Organic principles. The beef cattle receive no extra grain or bought in feed. They are a native breed, and take around two years of slow growing before an animal is ready for beef. A diverse diet gives a delicious flavour to the meat, packed with healthy nutrients.

Yes. We have moved to a subscription only service to balance our produce more sustainably. Meat boxes are sent monthly or every other month to customers. Additional products can be added on to boxes each order at the checkout.
Our monthly meat box brings you approximately 3kg of sustainably raised, nutrient dense meat from New House Farm. Each month your box will contain primarily grass fed beef from our own farm, alongside seasonal additions such as wild venison and occasionally Tamworth pork. Practically, this takes up around two thirds of a freezer drawer.
We understand that smaller households, or people that eat meat less frequently might not get through a box every month, that's why we also offer bi-monthly boxes, sending a box out every two months. You can move back to monthly at any point. If you are on holiday, you can pause an order.
The meat arrives frozen. It is frozen quickly after butchery to retain the freshness of the flavour - it hasn't ben sat on a shop shelf.
Yes you can collect your order from the farm. We love customers to see where their produce has come from.
Collection from the farm and delivery within 20 minutes of the farm are free. For meat, a chilled courier delivery is available for £6 per month for overnight orders. Unfortunately we can't deliver to the Highlands and Islands.
